Attendance at FAC Annual Conference

Members of NG&N recently attended the 2013 Florida Association of Counties (FAC) Annual Conference & Educational Exposition which was held this year in Hillsborough County on June 25-28, 2013.  NG&N has been supporting FAC as a Corporate Partner at the Gold level for many years.

The Florida Association of County Attorneys (FACA) 2013 Continuing Legal Education Program is held in conjunction with the FAC annual conference.  Several NG&N attorneys were invited to participate and give presentations at this annual CLE program.

Gregory Stewart, in association with two other presenters, discussed Public Records: Texting, Tweeting and Facebook, with Mr. Stewart concentrating on “Electronic Media Legal Issues.”  You can access the entire PowerPoint presentation by clicking here.

Robert Nabors also presented at the FACA CLE on Home Rule Growth Management After Repeal of 9-J5 along with another presenter.  Mr. Nabors concentrated his presentation on the “Home Rule Implications of the Community Planning Act” which you can access by clicking here.
